Kept having a bunch of issues with the template format on two different computers ow, so I'm posting these in a bare-bones layout with the same info.
Also, just wanted to clear something up - the description of Rookie techniques describes them as "nothing supernatural", but some of the approved universal Rookie techniques are things like throwing air pressure sword beam cuts. Not to nitpick, but you might wanna be a little clearer about what is and isnt a Rookie technique, cause I wasn't too sure. Let me know where these stand as far as leveling.
Anyway, starting techniques for my Goro Goro guy.
TECHNIQUE NAME
Ura-Bancho Bullet
Range Long (equivalent to standard pistol ranges)
Classification Offense
Rank Rookie
Personal
DESCRIPTION
Drake fires a bullet or similarly sized piece of metal from his hand, using electromagnetism. While it only deals the same damage as an actual gunshot, it is much quieter and only makes a soft 'Ping' sound when fired, as well as mildly shocking the target hit.
~ ~ ~
TECHNIQUE NAME
Menchi Beam
Range Medium (Up to 30')
Classification Offense
Rank Rookie
Personal
DESCRIPTION
Drake fires a single bolt of lightning from his body to deal standard electrical damage to a single target. He can fire the bolt from pretty much anywhere, but usually shoots it from a finger or his eyes. Due to the nature of electricity, this bolt tends to arc towards metal objects, and a target made of metal or wearing a lot of metal will have a hard time dodging the attack. A target hit by the bolt will usually end up burned by the electrical power, and weaker opponents will usually pass right out from shock.

TECHNIQUE NAME
Pon-tou-kin (or "Switchblade")
Range Self
Classification Support
Rank Rookie
Personal
DESCRIPTION
Drake puts his hand on the front of his blunt "Koyosei" sword and heats it with electricity, quickly reforging the front "edge" into an actual, very sharp edge as he runs his lightning-hand along it, allowing him to strike with cutting power instead of blunt impact. Because of the weapon's dense construction, it can hold the edge as long as it needs. The technique can be used again to change the weapon back to its original blunt form, but at it's current level the blade can only be forged to stay sharp for five posts at a time (though it can be 're-sharpened' if needed).

TECHNIQUE NAME
Greased Lightning
Range Short (Up to 15')
Classification Offense
Rank Intermediate
Personal
DESCRIPTION
Drake holds his sword up in a rather traditional Kendo pose, letting his electrical power crackle up it slightly, then darts forward with the sound of a thunderclap and the speed of lightning and brings the sword down on an opponent's head or shoulders in a traditional kendo slash with crushing force... and a blast of electricity for good measure. Due to Drake's strength and the speed of the attack powered by him briefly turning into lightning, this attack usually flattens most opponents into the ground. Even if an opponent blocks the attack they will still be shocked by the electricity on the sword, if they block with their bare hands or something that can conduct electricity (like most swords),
This attack could also be used with a normal bladed sword, but Drake doesn't have one yet. If used with an actual sword, it will instead be one of the classic run-by-slashes, doing a high-speed cut to the opponent's center mass and then frying them with lightning after the fact, in addition to breaking through Rookie level defenses.
