Haki is a mysterious power that is found in every living being in the world. It is not that different from the normal senses. However, most people do not notice it or fail to awaken it. Broadly, there are two types of Haki common to everyone, given the proper training; however, there is a third type that only a certain group of "chosen ones" are said to possess. In simple terms, Haki is an ability to sense spiritual energy (Observation), use life force (Armament), and overpower enemies (Conqueror).[break][break]
Haki is dormant in every living person, but it's rare for most people to ever awaken that ability. Intense training can awaken it, as can an extreme shock. Due to the fact that Haki originates from an individual's spirit and not their body, even if the user's spirit is transferred into another body, they are still capable of using Haki as if they were in their original body.[break][break]
However, Armament Haki is finite, and overusing it will render the user unable to use it for a set period while it regenerates. Observation Haki as well. Also while the user will never lose their ability to use Conqueror's Haki if overused the effects begin to lessen.[break][break]

Instead of just sensing what would happen by intuition, the user of this advanced level of Kenbunshoku Haki can literally see a precise mental image of what will happen in the immediate future. Contrary to basic Haki, there is no need to sense emotions or intention to use this technique. Future Vision does have its limitations; unlike basic Kenbunshoku, the user needs to properly focus in order to use this ability. If the user is not concentrating enough, they may be unable to see the future. Only another user of Kenbunshoku Haki with a proficient level or a distraction can counter this ability. In addition, the user can only interpret the future through their own senses meaning if you see something happen in the future but are too far to hear it then you will not hear what happens in the premonition.
