On this site, there is a system that is referred to as the job system in which the members create either Bounty missions for bounty hunters or anyone else without a bounty on their head or can disguise themselves well enough to get away with it, which are used to collect bounties on someone's head for Beli, Exp, and fame. As well as Quest for Marines that award Beli, Exp and Commendations. Lastly, there are Plunders, chances for pirates, or anyone else that wishes to break the law one way or another that award Beli, Exp, and a bounty increase. As soon as they are approved by the staff they can be posted to find people to take on the thread with them or against them, however, unlike most sites Treasure Cruise requires a duality to the jobs that are taken, what this means is that if your job is protecting a shop than that means someone is trying to attack said shop.[break][break]
While NPC's are acceptable for this we encourage each member to find a PC to go up against for example if a pirate sets up a Plunder on Dawn Island we ask that they first try and find Marines or Bounty Hunters or even other pirates that will attempt to stop them before asking someone to NPC (As the members of the job cannot NPC their own job).[break][break]
The specifics vary with each job but it can range from a misunderstanding to a deliberate act to force two groups or individuals to do battle. There are several reasons why it would happen and the "winner" of the thread gets to pretty much decide which side of the story was correct if the two sides are on differing opinions on what was right and what was wrong.[break][break]
Both sides get rewards no matter what though the losers only get half of what the posted reward is. This can start rivalries between crews and individuals and is a great way to build up character development and interactions while still working on the site and rank goals. Also turning in a PC player for their bounty awards you the base of what their bounty is while turning them in dead only gives you half the base amount (alive PC's turned in head to Impel Down where they must escape or stay for the rest of their RP life). Turning in an NPC bounty gives you half of their bounty if alive and only a quarter if dead.[break][break]
While on a job there will be times where staff members interject in your job (or even during regular threads) this gives a chance to up the ante. However, these chances are always death enabled and could end in your character's death. Upon completion, those who participate will be rewarded by the staff who interjects earning whatever that staff member would like to award them with. The way to make this happen is to make interesting threads that the staff would like to be apart of. These are optional and when they happen if you do not wish to take part you can ignore it.
On Treasure Cruise, we allow members to takeover islands showing their influence on said island. Also in the Blues, it would be possible to control the entire Blue by Taking over more than half of the islands in the Blue. The way to take over an island is to simply fill out an application for a special thread. Once it is done anyone who wants to can challenge you once you make the thread. The thread will be the individual or crew either setting up a base of operations on the island or taking the base of operations from whoever owns the island.[break][break]
In order to take the island, the requirements of the special thread need to be finished and a staff member will judge to see if the thread is acceptable enough to take control of the island, though this will only be done if the thread was fought against an NPC if the thread was against another PC then the winner will always gain the island.[break][break]
In order to defend an island, the owner of the island will need to reply to the initial takeover post within three days (though special circumstances could extend this) after three days the one challenging could either wait longer or declare the island theirs without having to post again. If others join the thread then the battle will be between them though the defender of the island can join the thread anytime so long as the declaration has not been made. What this means is that after three days of not responding if a third party enters the fray the defender can jump into the thread at the end of that fight and fight to defend their island.[break][break]
Those who own islands are responsible for their make up. What this means is that they determine (beforehand) the defenses on the island as well as the history on said island. Whenever something happens on an island that changes anything on the island whether it is a building being destroyed or someone building something the staff should be notified who will then notify the island owner who will then set up a news coo bulletin (merely a news thread for the island) updating the info of the island. The defensive set up for the island should also be mentioned in the news coo thread.

Risks and Reward
Rookie Level[break]
Rookie-level jobs are usually taken by Rookie-level characters and are the lowest classification for jobs. Though widely considered not being actual jobs as they deal with mundane things and have very little chance of danger. Things, like stealing from merchants or collecting bounties from a Rookie PC or an Intermediate NPC or being stationed in a marine post with no chance of combat, would be at this level.[break][break]
100 Exp[break]

Fame based on staff Discretion[break][break]
Intermediate Level[break]
Intermediate jobs are just a step above the Rookie jobs, though they are generally the same albeit with the chance of encountering combat These missions are taken by Intermediate level characters or in some cases a single or team of Rookies depending on the job in question. Job tasks usually include minor business protection jobs or raiding a merchant ship or business. Or taking a bounty of an Intermediate PC or an Advanced NPC. These jobs have a chance of combat though most of the time it is not life-threatening.[break][break]
