Site Rules
Listen to them or there will be fake consequences
Simple. You should show respect to both members and staff members alike. This is extended even to opinions and positions on topics. There is no need, and frankly no excuse, for going off on a tangent and ridiculing someone for any reason. If you need more aid in understanding this rule, look up flaming and trolling. If this rule is encroached upon, the process of consequence will be as follows: warning, a temporary ban, extended ban, and permanent ban (from either chat-box or site). Another aspect of this rule is personal discrepancies. If we staff see OOC conflicts manifesting in the role-play, we reserve the right to deal with this according to the situation.
This is a big no no not only here but on Proboards TOS as well. The site could be shut and worst-case scenario legal action my by taken so please before you steal from other sites or plagiarize just do not do it. If something is not yours and you wish to use it ask the owner beforehand if you cannot find the owner or the owner says you cannot use it please do not use it.
this site does not allow for sexual or overly vulgar content as per the rules of our Proboards host. You can kiss, touch, and wear bikinis, but any nakedness and sexiness should either fade to black, kept PG-13, or played out in PM's. Added to this list is the nature of advertising. We have a board for that. Do NOT in any way, shape, or form advertise outside of the 'Advertisements & Affiliations'. If such content is seen, staff reserve the right to remove it without question. If asked The Problem will install a mature board however to get the password for it one would have to prove to The Problem that they are over 18 in real life.
Firstly, leave the grading to the staff members. We don't need nor desire the chaos of members posting in other members' profiles or applications. If you have something to tell that person, PM them. If you want to say something about the application or the staff member's grading, PM the staff member in question once. If they do not like it, refrain from sending PM's thereafter. More importantly, if your app is being graded, you should not be disrespectful to the staff grading your app (or do honestly The Problem does not mind). If you do, don't be surprised if you get ignored and/or eventually archived and/or banned (temporarily or permanently). On the same note though, staff should not be disrespectful to the one having their app graded (The Problem might slip up hence why you can do it to him). If this happens, fight back as there is no one to complain to. If you want your app to be reviewed, make certain that you post saying that your app is done in the given application, since most of the staff use the 'New Topics' button to stay updated. If you have not done this, don't get upset if your app goes unnoticed. Moreover, if you have done this, you reserve the right to request that your app be reviewed after a day of no review. This is the same rule for bumping: an app can be bumped after twenty-four hours of no review. This can be done either in the discord or in PM's or PC, because waiting more than 24hrs is unacceptable.
All characters require face claims, and said face claims are to be either anime or manga in appearance. Drawings are also accepted as long as they are of quality and the artist has given their permission to use their work. Non-cannon One Piece FC's are allowed. Also, it should be noted that any pornographic images will be removed immediately without question. This site should remain PG-13 including images.
First off, to role-play anything here, it is required that you have an approved character profile first. Also note that before your profile can be approved, all customs need to be approved first. Profiles are to be written in the third person. This is mandatory. You can have as many characters as you can handle; however, each one is to be registered on a separate account so that we staff can precisely gauge the activity of each character. On that same note, if one of your characters fail to be role-played for a time period of a week and a half, we the staff will PM that account with a warning of archive. How will you see this message? Simple. Log into all of your accounts daily (or consistently at the least). With this rule established, there can be no excuses for not getting and/or responding to a warning PM. The easiest way to avoid an archive though is to post in the "Departure" board for extended leaves.
Realize that one, this is the internet. Also realize that two, this is a community. There will be people telling jokes to and fro, so if you don't like certain jokes, do NOT expect the community to conform to your liking. On the other hand, jokes should be just that: jokes. Leave the blatantly and purposefully vulgar stuff to the professional comedians. There's a fine line between, for example, telling a gay joke and voicing your hate of gay people in a passive-aggressive way (this, of course, applies to all groups and demographics, such as the common degrading of religions). If this is seen, the consequences will be the same as, if not harsher than, the consequences for flaming and trolling.
