Red's personality could be summed up into one-word energy. That being said I will not sum it up that way but explain what that means. He is charismatic and charming the kind of guy everyone wants to be around because life is just more fun when he is around. His over the top personality is just eccentric enough to be entertaining but not too much to the point where it gets annoying. He is funny and does not mind being the butt of jokes and is an over the top flirt with any female he meets regardless of if he finds them attractive or not.[break][break]

He is almost never sad or depressed and always has the energy to spare. He can usually be found with a smile on his face enjoying the company of whomever he happens to be around. He is a genuinely happy person and others can tell and that makes them like him even more.[break][break]

He hardly is ever angered but that does not mean that he dislikes fighting or killing. Even without getting mad or losing his upbeat personality, he has been known to beat others into submission. His positivity and jovial nature underlie a savage and almost bloodthirsty nature when he is fighting. This is to say that he enjoys a good fight as much as he enjoys joking around and hanging out.[break][break]

During the rare instances of rage, he goes from zero to one hundred with no middle ground. He is not one to be slightly annoyed at anything and once he is angry it is explosive and about as angry as angry can get. This is the only he will be seen with a straight face as he is mostly seen smiling and laughing. During these moments he becomes destructive but not wanton about what he destroys it is a focused rage that can only be abated from completely destroying the object of his vexation. A good way to piss him off would be to hurt or anger or disrespect one of his friends and if he ever tells you to apologize for something if you are not in the mood for a brawl the best beat would be to apologize.[break][break]

Red can usually be seen bare-chested choosing to forgo traditional armoring and regular shirts for his own skin's toughness, His chest has a fairly large tattoo over it that looks like a horned dragon. He also wears black gloves, black cargo pants, and black steel-toed combat boots. When cold he usually dons a long sleeve tight-fitting black turtle neck and a floor-length red-scaled jacket with a white fur collar. Around his waist looped to his belt are two hammers used both in fights as well as to make repairs to a ship. Also used in fights and in boat repair and construction is a handy tool belt filled with tons of nails and screws and other material.[break][break]

Red is a ripped caramel-skinned teen male standing at five feet seven inches tall and weighing in at one hundred and seventy pounds of pure muscle. Although not large enough to be considered a giant he easily dwarfs most regular humans especially those his age. His body is well toned due to his near-constant work as a carpenter and shipwright. His hair which is his pride and joy comes down to the small of his back and is bright red and dread-locked. His hands are well calloused from his work and his body is tough like leather.

History

Red was born Fredrick Leon Ross Jr his parents were average everyday people and as an infant, he lived a very happy and love-filled life. As a child of about four or five his parents decided to go on a vacation cruise it was meant to be something amazing that Red would remember for the rest of his life, This would not come true as the cruise ship was attacked by pirates and during a battle between the staff of the cruise ship and the pirates Red's parents were cut down in front of him, this broke him down causing him to go into a shocked state where he no longer remembers anything.[break][break]

After the pirate attack, the ship floated in the sea for about two hours before being found by a marine ship, most of the survivors were families that lost either children or parents leaving almost no family intact, because of this the marines decided they would try to pair the survivors with each other to make it easier so no child would have to go to an orphanage and no parent would be without a child.[break][break]

There plan worked rather well as every child was accounted for by at least a single parent the marines then towed the cruise ship to the nearest island where the members of the cruise ship that were left tried to block the thoughts from their mind and move on. Red had it easier as he did not have to block out the memories because he could not remember anything before the marine staff pointing him in the direction of a large man who had lost his wife and daughter and was willing to take the boy in.[break][break]

Because he could not remember his name his "father" whose name was Blu told him he could choose his own name and maybe it would jog his memory. Red not knowing how to name anything let alone himself decided that he would also name himself after a color as well, and named his Red looking at his own image he decided it would be better to be called Reddred and because the only thing he could remember was wishing he was a dragon he decided on the full name ReddredDragon.[break][break]

Blu was a carpenter by trade and although he told Red that he could become whatever he wanted Red did not know anything else to be besides a dragon so he followed in his father's footsteps and learned carpentry mostly how to be a shipwright, Blu appreciated that Red seemed to enjoy working alongside as well as the fact that he could not remember the attack so he did not want to talk about it as the years passed the two became extremely close and Red was able to help Blu move on with his life and experience joy.[break][break]

It seemed to be something that Red was naturally good at besides being a shipwright and fighting he seemed to have a knack for causing joy and excitement wherever he went and causing people to like him. However, after his father died he took over his business, and although he was still his cheerful self he kept others at an arms distance never really becoming friends with anyone. He was looking for a family but no one seemed right to him, it was then that pirates began coming to the shop to get their ships fixed many asked Red to come with them and see the world and although he denied them he got the idea that maybe his family was out in the world and he had to go find them.[break][break]

It was then that he decided he would become a pirate himself and look for his family within a pirate crew as he figured that would be the best way to no longer be alone even though he was always around people. He took a small Tuna class ship and began his adventures not really looking for anything in particular but hoping that traveling all over the world will help him find those that he could call family, the people who would make him feel less lonely since his father had died. He would search for them until he found them and once he found them he would stick with them until he couldn't any longer no matter what that meant. He also has the nagging thought in the back of his mind that he still could become a dragon and wishes to see if that is possible.[break][break]

It was during his research of the Devil Fruit and the rumors of the island's forest that he found what would soon become his family. Because he figured he might as well attempt to find the treasure that was rumored to be hidden on the island as it could have been one of these Devil Fruits he heard so much about and it could have even been the Ryu Ryu no Mi that he had learned about in the Devil Fruit Encyclopedia Blu had left to him. Red had not left his home yet when O'clan'Osheen arrived on the island. He was an odd fellow just walked right up to him and asked him about his dreams then went ahead and decided to make his dream come true as that is what a captain does. While Red decided that if he did this for him he would join the oddball's crew and follow him wherever he was going.[break][break]

They had not made it long before they were met by another odd man. He introduced himself as Kojiro. It was soon found that he was on the run from a bunch of merchants and because they liked the odd man Red and O'clan'Osheen decided to help him out of a bind. This led to them back to the docks where they found themselves boarding an enemy ship and defeating all the merchants there. O'clan'Osheen tied the boss to the mast sent the boat to the middle of the bay and set it on fire. This resulted in all three of them receiving their first bounty of 1,000,000B.[break][break]

After some time had passed Red shared what he knew about the island and the Devil Fruit with O'clan'Osheen and Kojiro and they decided to go after it. During their adventure into the jungle in the center of colors island, they met a race of powerful apes that protects the hill and stopped people from either side from climbing. Because the Monkeys have long stopped mountain bandits from raiding Red's village he did not want them killed. Because of this, the fight was hard but eventually, O'clan'Osheen was knocked through the side of the mountain and found the lost treasure that the Monkeys were protecting. An ancient civilization surrounded by several stacks of gold-filled chests and the Devil Fruit that Red had been looking for.[break][break]

The civilization had no use for the gold or the Devil Fruit and let the three of them have the treasures so long as they did not speak of them to the outside world because they did not wish to be found out. The three of them agreed and went on about their business. Red was able to eat the disgusting fruit which allowed him to transform to what he believed was his natural form all along. After this, they piled up in Red's ship and Kojiro who was a pretty good navigator managed to get them to their next adventure.[break][break]

Their next adventure came on Dawn Island; Kojiro who had a talent for finding trouble got himself taken by marines. The newly formed Vagabond Pirates did not have a fear in the world and we're about to storm the front gate of the marine base when they got wind that a scientist wished to speak to them about helping to free Kojiro. Deciding that help would not hurt they went to the meeting with him to see what it is he wanted to talk about. They figured it would not really matter as if they did not like what he had to say they would just return to their original plan of storming the front gate for their brother.[break][break]

It seemed Frank, who was also an oddball, wanted to get some animals to do something with. Red was pretty smart but this guy was beyond Red’s mental capacity so he did not really pay attention to his scientific grumbling about animal parts and such. Once they were ready, they attacked the small marine base. During the breakout, they caused a prison riot, Frank persuading the prisoners that they outnumbered the marines so the odds were in their favor. Thankfully for those pirates, Red and O'clan'Osheen were there and did most of the heavy lifting Red in his dragon form and O'clan'Osheen just being a tank of a man.[break][break]

While Red and O'clan'Osheen caused chaos throughout the Marine base Frank and his false dragon found the animals freed them to their owners and rescued Kojiro. Apparently even though Frank wanted the animals he decided to give them back to their owners and then pay for them which seemed like a waste of time to Red but as it was not his time he did not care. Frank then dressed everyone’s wounds and O'clan'Osheen asked him to join the crew a notion that both he and Kojiro agreed with. Frank decided to join and went home for a final experiment that Red did not understand before they shipped out in search of another adventure. This increased the bounty on the first three as well as earning Frank a bounty of his own.[break][break]

They next landed was Yotsuba island. It was at this Island that they saw their new bounties. Red had been given a bounty of 95,000,000B and Kojiro was given a bounty of 75,000,000B (mainly because he was the one being broken out). O'clan'Osheen being the captain was given an increase to a whopping 125,000,000B. Frank whose bounty was new was given 25,000,000B. Upon landing on Yotsuba they all went their separate ways trying not to draw so much attention. Kojiro made his way to a bar to drink. Red who was in the back of the same bar eating the food from their storeroom did not know Kojiro was there until a ruckus began. After fighting through several marines and breaking a bar Kojiro claimed the bar as his own and O'clan'Osheen who showed up out of nowhere drunk decided the whole island would be theirs. The fighting lasted for hours before they decided it would be best to regroup and just attack the base to drive the marines off the island entirely.[break][break]

As of right now, the Vagabonds are laying low on Yotsuba waiting for the whole crew to regroup so they could run the marines from their base and establish it as Vagabond's cradle. They plan to take the whole island for themselves and show the world that the Vagabond pirates are not just some two-bit pirate group they were the real deal.[break][break]

Devil Fruit: Ryu Ryu no Mi, Model: Longwang [break]

The Ryu Ryu no Mi is a Mythical Zoan type fruit that allows the user to turn their body into that of a Dragon or a Human-Dragon Hybrid. There are several forms the user can use and each one comes with their own ability. They all have scales that could protect them from blows though at his current level with the fruit the scales are Advanced class defense and will defend against most Intermediate level or lower attacks (though slight damage is still taken from intermediate attacks and none is taken from Rookie). All of his forms give him a considerable boost to all of his physical attributes though the boost at this level is incredible (each one also gives a considerable boost to one specific area). Each form also grants him the ability to breathe fire and smoke to attack with in various ways and at this level immunity to the fire and enhanced resistance to heat. They also all share the ability to fly.[break][break]

At the Advanced Level, the user will not have finally gotten full control over their forms and the forms abilities to the point that they can now partially transform into any of the forms they have access to granting them the ability to use dragon abilities in their human form. Gaining the same grace they have in human form they can now do everything they can do in their human form in their dragon forms as well albeit faster due to the boost in physicality. Also because of the mass, they gain when transformed into a dragon the user must eat a lot to keep their energy up having to eat a feast worth of food at every meal or they begin to feel sluggish and tired. A drawback is their size if the user does not have enough room to move around freely transforming into one of their dragon forms would be useless.[break][break]

Lastly if submerged to knee depth (for a normal human so like two feet or so of water) or the user comes in contact with seastone they, like all other Devil Fruit users, become weakened. What this means is that the user loses the ability to transform and if they are in one of their dragon forms they will be changed back into their original form. Also depending on how thick the seastone is the user may start to feel even further weakened or it may just cause them to not be able to use their powers while keeping his normal level of strength.[break][break]

Serpentine Dragon: The user transform into a massive winged Serpentine dragon that is about twenty-five feet tall on all fours as it is unable to become bipedal for more than a few seconds its height of fifty feet when on its hindquarters is almost not worth mentioning. In this form, the user gains scales that are extremely durable and teeth and claws that could cut through Intermediate level defenses if repeatedly attacked. Also, the user gains the ability to breathe fire and smoke. Also, the user gains wings and the ability of flight. This particular form of dragon is praised for its speed and comes with a speed bonus. Oddly enough this dragon is left-handed no matter what the usual strong hand is for the user.

High Dragon: The user transforms into a massive winged high dragon that is about twenty-five feet tall on all fours as it is unable to become bipedal for more than a few seconds its height of fifty feet when on its hindquarters is almost not worth mentioning. In this form, the user gains scales that are extremely durable and teeth and claws that could cut through veteran level defenses in one blow and damage legendary if struck repeatedly (due to the added strength). Also, the user gains the ability to breathe fire and smoke. Also, the user gains wings and the ability of flight. This particular form of a dragon is praised for its strength and comes with a strength bonus. Oddly enough the dragon is right-handed no matter what the usual strong hand is for the user.

Dungeon Dragon: The user transforms into a massive winged dungeon dragon that is about fifty feet tall on its hindquarters. In this form, the user gains scales that are extremely durable and teeth and claws that could cut through Rookie-level defenses if repeatedly attacked. Also, the user gains the ability to breathe fire and smoke. Also, the user gains wings and the ability of flight. This particular form of a dragon is praised for its toughness and comes with a stamina bonus.

Hybrid Form: The user transforms into a massive winged hybrid form between man and dragon that stands upright at about fifteen feet. In this form, the user gains scales that are extremely durable and teeth and claws that could cut through Rookie-level defenses in a few swipes. Also, the user gains the ability to breathe fire and smoke. Also, the user gains wings and the ability of flight. This particular form of dragon does not give more than the average boost in physicality but does allow the user to use their other fighting styles due to it being more human-like.

Dragon King: This is the ultimate transformation within the Ryu Ryu no Mi transformations it mixes a bit of all the other forms and takes the form of a hulking dragon king that stands an impressive 70ft tall on its hindquarters. In this form, the user gains scales that are extremely durable (even more so than usual) and teeth and claws that could cut through Veteran level defenses in one blow due to the strength increase while being able to eventually damage Legendary level defenses with multiple attacks. Also, the user's flame breathe is much more intense with the flames becoming a dark purple color. Also, the user gains wings and the ability of flight. This particular form of a dragon is praised for its dominance over all things and as such gives an increase to the user's full capabilities. At this level, the user still cannot readily turn into this form and it only happens in times of dire need. However, they have gained full control of themselves while in this form. After seven posts in this form, the user will pass out from exhaustion and be useless for the rest of the thread.

Carpentry/Shipwright [Rookie][break]
A Carpenter is someone who makes a living off building things, from mainly but not limited to, wood. With the times being as they are, most carpenters build ships, but there are also those who possess the knowledge of making better buildings and such, as well as smaller items that they craft.[break][break]

Red is an amazing Shipwright and Carpenter albeit just a Rookie and has the ability to create Tuna class ships so long as he has the parts. He could also rapidly repair his ship as well as upgrade the ship with any Rookie Level upgrades. Also, he can rapidly construct things during a battle, and while it takes him some time to do it he is currently working on getting faster at building in high-pressure situations.[break][break]

Red is a hulking individual and his muscles are not just for show. Although his strength is still Rookie-level it is far above the average found among rookies. Due to his work as a carpenter and shipwright, he is able to lift twice his own weight without being slowed down and could punch through wood if he needed to.[break][break]
