Overall

___ (pronounced blank) is a small and petite girl. she stands at just over five feet and weighs a little over one hundred pounds. She has several piercings on her ears but has taken to wearing only one really long earring that takes up the whole outer ear. She usually wears dark eyeliner and lip stick and her hair is usually in a ponytail though shaved at the sides. She has a bar tattoo on her head where the hair is shaved and likes to keep her hair shaved so that they show on both sides.

She wears what looks like a convict jumpsuit though in actuality it is just a normal orange jumpsuit. She likes to keep the top down with the sleeves hanging from her waist. This is so that her torso which is covered in tattoos can be seen easily. She does not wear a shirt instead she wears a makeshift bra made from leather straps that is just big enough to cover her small bust. Her tattoos cover all of her body from her feet up to her neck and the two on her head. They are mostly red or black though there are all sorts of colors and designs all over her body. These tattoos tell her story better than she ever could.

Overall

___ is not as tough as she would have you believe. While she is as tough as she says she is, she is also a softy at heart. Although one would not be able to tell by looking at her she is a romantic and has lived a rather good life. Although she does not lie about her life in the business she works it is better if people think you are some kind of bad ass so she does not correct them when they think that she has been through a lot preferring to just stay quiet about her life growing up.

This is not to say that she cannot handle herself. Her parents were pirates and though they had retired by the time they had her they raised her to take on the family business. This means that she does not take nonsense from anyone and is as abrasive and ready to fight as her outward appearance makes her seem. She is slow to trust and does not truly get along with others until she really knows them. The problem with that is she does not choose to know them until they have done something for her.

She is manipulative and vindictive and if you wrong her she will do everything in her power to chase you down and hurt you. She is an excellent orator and can talk herself out of almost anything. She is good at talking others to her point of view and uses this skill a lot in her line of business. She is excellent at creating and employing passionate and eloquent speeches from the top of her head and uses these in times where her martial prowess does not work.

Overall

___ Was born on the floor on the deck of a ship. While this is true she was surrounded by people who loved her and was well taken care of from the moment she was born. The fact that she technically has no name is due to a bet her parents made with another group of pirates. While her parents would never tell her what the bet was the captain of the crew, whom was her godfather, told her before he passed that they bet that she was a boy. Despite not having a name she never went without as a child. Her parents, albeit not the captain of the crew they were on were well known pirates and had amassed quite the fortune which they used to spoil their little girl. While her parents had retired when they found out they were expecting a baby they still lived on the seas mainly due to the fact that they were wanted pirates who could not stay in one place for too long.

They loved their life of freedom and wanted the same for their daughter so they began teaching her everything they knew. Her father who had eaten a devil fruit that allowed him to create barriers had even begun teaching her how to control the fruit. ___ did not know why he was as the fruit power was his and she knew of no way to get a fruit power from someone. When she was about twelve years old her parents told her that they were done running and they would find a remote island to live in and find a school so that she can learn the basic of life. They wanted her to finish her basic education before becoming a pirate like them or whatever it was she was going to do. ___ wanted to become a marine and although her parents did not like the idea they supported her.

At around eighteen years old her parents were found out. The marines came to take them to impel down to await their execution date. ___ was shocked that they would execute her parents when they had been out of the game for so long. What truly changed her mind however is when they began to look for her as a means to wipe out the entire family line. When she heard the marines mocking her parents due to them saying that their daughter wanted to be a marine and to leave her alone she changed her mind about becoming a marine. Before the took her parents to Impel Down she managed to sneak aboard the ship and her father told her to go to their execution with a fruit in her pocket. When she asked why he told her that when he passed on the devil fruit ability of his will latch on to the nearest fruit.

During the execution she did as she was told and became the next user of the Bari Bari no Mi. Since then she decided against being a marine and a pirate and went instead to become a bounty hunter. This way she can turn in the criminals that she wants to and break any rules she feels she should not have to listen to. She figured it was the truest form of freedom in all the world more so than pirate who were hunted always, and more than marines who had to follow orders and do as they were told. Since becoming a bounty hunter she has changed very little except her appearance which has changed quite a lot.

Special Abilities

Amazing Orator
___ is an unparalleled orator when compared to other Rookies, capable of spinning eloquence or humor into an offhand comment and prone to making grand, moving speeches off the top of her head. While maintaining her cool, she is rather adept at philosophical arguments, swiftly seeing the cracks in any opponent's logic without missing a beat in conversation. This helps her by allowing her to talk her way out of most situations as well as sway both PC's and NPCs to her way of thinking (though she does so with a tech).

Haki
Like all other beings ___ has the ability to utilize Haki although at the moment she is not very good at it. Her observation haki is only good enough to help her dodge basic free form attacks and cannot help her when it comes to Rookie or higher techniques. Her Armament haki cannot be used unless she is using a technique and will fail her if it meets another Armament haki no matter the level. She also has access to conqueror's haki though her use of it is rare due to her not having full control of it.

Devil Fruit

Bari Bari no Mi

The Bari Bari no Mi is a Paramecia-class Devil Fruit that allows the user to generate barriers for defending or striking at will, turning the user into a Barrier Human. The main strength of this fruit is that it allows the user to form invisible barriers, though they can be solidified to become visibly transparent, resembling a pane of glass. This protects the user from attacks from either front or back. The shield can also be used for offensive purposes by launching it forward to create powerful forces to strike the targets, or to deflect forces sent by enemies right back at them. They can also be used to form constructs that can be used for supplementary use.

However, at her current level she can only erect barriers through the use of a techniques and cannot do so by will. Also her barriers are all visibly transparent as she has not been able to create a barrier that is invisible. Her barriers are usually a light bluish white color.  Also at her current level she must cross her fingers in a sign of repellent force to erect her barriers.

A weakness of this fruit that is unique only to this fruit and her ability with it is that if she cannot cross her fingers she cannot erect a barrier. Also if for some reason her fingers come uncrossed her barriers will falter and break. Though even if she is unconscious if her fingers remain crossed her barriers will remain intact. Other than that all other devil fruit weaknesses apply.
