One Piece: Treasure Cruise is an Alternate Universe (AU) site where the straw hats and all the other famous pirates of the animanga do not exist.
The Time frame for the site is around the same time frame of the Animanga so the technology and such are on par with what is seen in the show though some advances can be made within reason of course.
There should be no mention of cannon characters as none of them exist and although there may be certain things that are similar to the animanga as this site is based off of it, the animanga is not considered cannon on this site.
Plot
Seventy years ago the three way war going on within the sky was still happening with high casualties on all sides. Because of this a truce was initiated. Each island would have its own independence away from rule of the other islands. The truce would hold so long as they stayed on their respective island and did not venture off into the territory of the other islands. Although there have been news about multiple Birkans, Shandians, or Skypieans dying while on one of the other islands the open, all-out fighting has stopped and a lot of the killing has been toned down. However, this has not stopped many sky islanders from leaving their home in search of a peaceful life down in the Blue Oceans not knowing that they were going from one multiple century long war to another.
Around sixty years ago the revolutionaries had a secret base within East Blue on Colors Island. The secret base there was becoming so successful due to the fact that none would suspect any trouble out of the weakest ocean in the world, so much so that they would be surprised to run into high ranking officials of the revolution there. This went on for about ten years until the World Government finally got wind of the location of the hideout. The fight was brought to the base and the leader of the revolution at the time stayed behind to fight off the attack giving his people time to escape. Due to the public execution of the leader of the revolution having hurt the recruiting process for a few years it was then that the revolution decided to work through a system of council so that there would never again be just one leader of the revolution but five one for each blue and one for the Grand Line as a whole. Forty years ago people began to move back to colors island and multiple towns and villages have sprang up there each named after a specific color.
In the present time the fighting has become less open warfare and more vying for islands and power. However fighting between the revolution and the World Government still persist because of this the World Government has increased taxes. This has caused unrest in many of the civilians and has bolstered the ranks of the revolution. However in a move that no one saw coming there have been several individuals who feel as if the revolution is just as bad as the World Government and have gone to sea on their own to live by their own code and to enjoy their freedom. These pirates have sparked the Golden Pirate Era which has also sparked an increase in bounty hunters which is a fine way to earn a living and pay those raised taxes without joining the marines revolutionaries or the pirates.

Puddle Pusher - For the breaking effect we actually allow Player character weapons to be broken so you could say that the tech is strong enough to break basic level weapons if hit directly leaving the ineffective for the rest of the thread.

Cipher Pol is a series of World Government organizations. The various Cipher Pol cells are stationed throughout the world and investigate for the World Government. They supplement the Intelligence Branch of the World Government's Marine forces but seem to operate more as a counter-insurgency agency that also has more general law enforcement duties. If they encounter pirates, they will apprehend them, but, as an agency, Cipher Pol seems to focus more on political threats to the World Government than more generic criminals.[break][break]
There are eight official Cipher Pols that are numbered from CP1 to CP8 with two unofficial units, which are named CP9 and CP-0. Cipher Pol No. 9 has the license to kill any citizen that does not cooperate with the World Government or acts Zcontrary to its interests. Because such a radical method of applying justice by the World Government should not be common knowledge, this group is a top-secret organization. CP-0 is apparently more powerful than the CP9 as it is called the world's strongest intelligence.
Infantry and Sailor Division
CP1 or more properly Cipher Pol Number One is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. This is when those who were plucked for the Cipher Pol training leave those of the regular marine training and could truly call themselves Cipher Pol. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 2,000 commendations and be of intermediate rank.
CP2, or more properly Cipher Pol Number Two is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp1 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 4,000 commendations.
CP3 or more properly Cipher Pol Number three is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp2 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP's. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 6,000 commendations.
CP4, or more properly Cipher Pol Number Four is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp3 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP's. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 8,000 commendations while being advanced rank.
CP5 or more properly Cipher Pol Number Five is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp4 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP's. This division requires In order to be eligible for this promotion one must reach 10,000 commendations.
CP6, or more properly Cipher Pol Number Six is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp5 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP's. In order to be eligible for this promotion 20,000 commendations.
CP7, or more properly Cipher Pol Number Seven is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp6 members of this division is usually stronger than those of lesser CP's. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 30,000 commendations.
CP8, or more properly Cipher Pol Number Eight is an Intelligence Agency, working under the employ of the World Government, being one of the Cipher Pols. The next level up from Cp7 members of this division is usually the strongest of the known organization. In order to be eligible for this promotion, one must reach 40,000 commendations as well as being of Veteran skill level.
CP9 and Aegis-0
Unlike the eight official Cipher Police groups, CP9 members are not based on intelligence gathering, but instead are shadowy assassins who kill anyone that opposes the World Government. Members are gathered at childhood and are trained both physically and mentally to become powerful killers, discarding emotions in order to become more efficient in missions. Though they receive this training while moving through the other ranks of the other Cipher Pol divisions.[break][break]
The CP9 is based in Enies Lobby's Tower of Justice, where they act as the final guardians of the Gates of Justice. It has been said that Enies Lobby's reputation of being impossible to conquer is due to the generations of CP9, and their strength. Though they do travel if ever Enies Lobby is in danger they will be called upon to defend it.[break][break]
CP9 has special privileges not available to normal Cipher Pol squadrons, such as the ability to kill any person perceived as a threat to world stability. They are also trained since childhood in the martial arts style Rokushiki, a style that few others know of.[break][break]
In order to exceed the limits of the human body, CP9 agents receive special training since their childhood. In order to become a full-fledged member of CP9, the agents must master a martial arts style that is called Rokushiki. The training also has somewhat of a mind-molding process so that Cipher Pol agents only learn how to be assassins and that this is their only profession. This requires 50,000 commendations and mastery of at least two of the Rokushiki
CP-0 is the strongest of all Cipher Pol units, even surpassing the assassination specialists of CP9. It is said that nothing good can come from this group's presence. They work directly under the command of the World Nobles. Although they are essentially the same level as CP9 and require the same training in Rokushiki they also require Haki and are considered to be on par with the Admirals. Requires the ability to use at least one type of Haki as well as mastery of at least 4 of the Rokushiki and legendary rank.
