Krow is a young man of short stature for his age, thus people usually mistake him for a child at first sight, and are bewildered when they hear his mature voice. He has tanned skin with freckles spreading between his cheeks, long brown hair made into dreadlocks, which cover part of the right side of his face, and similarly light brown eyes. He has a tattoo of his mother’s name running down his spine and another tattoo of his father, brother, and sister’s names.

His usual attire consists of an Ivory large hoodie topping a black full-body suit, green patterned shorts buckled at the waist with a brown belt and geta that have iron spikes so he can block and parry incoming weapon attacks with his feet. His belt has a holster for Amaterasu.

Krow is also known to go shirtless, only wearing his camo patterned shorts and geta, even known to go barefoot in some instances. When not wearing a shirt he puts his hair up in a pony tail, with two dreads hanging over his left eye.

Krow has a hedonistic way of life in which he believes that pleasure is the number one happiness in life and getting to that level of happiness is the main goal in humanity.  He believes this so much anything he sees or catches his attention that he wants, he goes after no matter the danger or cost it be.  This is due to the fact that he is a logia who ate the Pika Pika no Mi, which is technically supposed to go to his older sister since she is the oldest and the rules of the Sol clan is the eldest child receives the fruit when the owner before them dies.  This adds to his carefree, nonchalant, confident look on life taking whatever he wants no matter the consequences.  

Krow  cares so little he has at times gone over board in combat due to the rush he gets from fighting, the more powerful the opponent the greater the more excited he becomes causing him to turn to a brutal, sometimes sadistic combatant while protecting himself or just for fun.  Even though he lives without regret, he believes that the two evils in this world are order and negative thinking.  His optimistic, rebellious attitude towards the World Government is what fuels him to become the new owner of the world.  

The only two fears that Krow possesses is his ex-girlfriend which he just abandoned before deciding to become a pirate.  Her being a prestigious Marine recruit did not take this lightly and hunts him down to get revenge and Momoiro Island homeland of the Okama or crossdressers.  Krow believes the true crime in the Blues and Grand Lineis men dressing as woman and doing a horrible, horrible job at it.

Krow was born to the Sol Clan as the second child of Kurix S. Akujin and Ayeka Haruname Akujin. The Sol Clan was a shinobi clan that made their home in Wano Country, in a village called Kuri. The clan protected the political heads of Wano Country acting as assassins and/or bodyguards to those whom they were charged to protect. In Krow’s case he was born into the pure blood of the family, his father Kurix, being the head of the family was the consumer of the Pika Pika no Mi which gave him extraordinary abilities. He was so adept with his ability to use the light elemental logia, he was given the epitaph Fastest Man Alive. As a teenager Kurix created the Dark Sol Pirates in a form of rebellion to the Marines to show that they could not hold claim to the world and that every island should be free to choose.

At nineteen years old, Kurix, was given his birthright as his father passed away and the Pika Pika no Mi was recovered from one of the fruits only seen in Kuri. With his newfound abilities he set out with his crew to affiliate with the pirates and wreak havoc amongst the Marines bases throughout the Grand Line. This form of propaganda made citizens think that their government could not protect them, and uprising's would ensue if Marines did not respond accordingly. Kurix went on to board Marine vessels execute the entire crew, and raid it for all of its good, sinking the ship in the process.

Due to this reckless behavior Kurix was challenged by the Marine’s and a massive attack was issued on one of the villages he had liberated from the World Government. The marines came with an overwhelming force but, were not prepared for what would happen next. Kurix being not only a witty pirate, he was also trained in the shinobi arts, his espionage skills being unrivaled by most. He had secretly installed sleeper cells a year before and their forces were compromised by officers and seamen alike who held an allegiance to the Dark Sol Pirates. Kurix also had the help of a woman he had fallen in love with named Ayeka Haruname. She was the captain of the Sakura Pirates and it was thanks to Kurix liberating their island that she could completely push the Marines from her home island and the waters that surrounded it.

The young shinobi’s fame and bounty skyrocketed after he proved that warriors of the Wano Country were not to be forgotten. They were masters of war and combat and Kurix proved that with his god like speed. He would come to marry Ayeka and have their first child which they would name Reiya. Because she was born first she would hold claim to the Pika Pika no Mi after Kurix passed away, then she too could take up the mantle as the head of the Sol Clan.

Five years would pass, Kurix and Ayeka, were teaching their daughter the way of the shinobi, with some attention to being a seafaring captain of her own crew. The couple did not believe that Wano Country was the last place they would live, they possessed a sense of adventure something Kurix parents never had. They promised they would allow their child to be whatever she or he so chose and with that they would conceive yet another child.

Krow being the youngest child and a boy was coddled more by his mother then his sister was. Reiya did not mind because she was more like her father and even went on voyages with him as a toddler to show her the world that she could someday have the chance to explore. As Krow matured he was put thru the same shinobi training as his sister, becoming adept at many fields of the shadow arts by ten years old. His problem was he knew he had the potential to become even greater but held back because the pleasure he obtained from a drawn out fight made the victory that much sweeter.

At eleven years old Krow was known for two things: taking what was not his and fighting any and everyone if he so pleased. He lived in a world where his adrenaline and endorphins is what made him happy and he believed in that pursuit of happiness. The young shinobi also believed he was the true owner of the Devil Fruit his father held and as a child plotted to apprehend the fruit from his sister when the time came. Every new year Krow became stronger, more cunning, and more like his father. He was an accomplished shinobi who had completed many missions, some in which he was literally going against himself due to him taking items from nobles and politicians homes. At seventeen a life changing event would occur that would shape Krow into the man he would grow to become.

Kurix was out with his crew on a voyage to chart some new islands, while Ayeka was out with her crew training Reiya, Krow’s older sister, to be a minor officer on one of the ships she commanded. This left Krow home in Kuri alone using this time to train his combat techniques and kenjutsu. It was a rather dreary day the sun was nowhere to be found, like an omen of something bad was to come. Krow, was outdoors practicing sword play against a bamboo dummy when a sudden burst of light crashed into their home, obliterating it in the process and knocking Krow off of his feet onto the flat of his back. Debris filled the air as Krow came too holding his shoulder which was dislocated, he made his way to his family's destroyed home.

What he saw was a gruesome sight, before him was his father maimed, and losing blood at a dangerously quick rate. “Krow, my child… run… get away from here and protect your mother and sister… tell them I love them…” Kurix said as he slowly staggered up creating a left leg and right arm out of light and solidifying light to close the hole in his lower right abdomen. The heat from the light soldered the wound causing the smell of seared flesh to fill the dreary, windy air. “Pop’s what are you talking about!? Who did this to you!?” Krow would cry as his emotions came forth and streams of tears trickled from his, chestnut brown eyes to his chin and fell to the burning rubble below. “...I did.” A deep, dark, yet calm voice came from behind Krow. The young boy would turn and only see a samurai with a strange mask hiding his face. “LEAVE MY SON OUT OF…!” Before Krow could finish hearing what his father was saying he could feel a warm crimson life fluid running down his back as cold steel went through his skin like butter. A sudden red mist filled the air around Krow and he collapsed.

An hour went by and Krow woke up in complete shock as he pushed himself up to his feet ignoring the pain that was radiating from his back. His vision was blurry, his face painted with his own blood. In the distance he would see what look like his father body on the ground and the masked samurai standing over him. With everything he had Krow rushed to his father’s fallen body, uncaring and oblivious to his father's slayer. “Well. You survived. Then you must be the one. If you want revenge, you come at me with all you have. I want to see you at your best when. I cut you down like your father and wipe your clan from the face of the planet.” The masked man said as he flicked his sword and sheathed his blade. Krow filled with pain and suffering stood to his feet and went to punch the masked man but in that instant he had vanished as if he was never there. The words he spoke resonated with Krow causing him to break tradition for the honor of the Sol Clan. The Pika Pika no Mi would appear in a nearby nashi pear. The design, texture, and even smell of the pear changed as the stem even became more curly. Krow did not hesitate and consumed the fruit. Upon eating it the horrible taste filled his entire mouth but, with sheer will he completely devoured the fruit.

The young Devil Fruit eater let out of roar of pain and swore to take everything from everyone no matter what the cost and in the same of the Sol Clan wreak havoc throughout the broken world.

Krow is now nineteen and residing in Loguetown in an attempt to become captain of a crew, who had a taste for conquering as he did.
