One Piece: Treasure Cruise is an Alternate Universe (AU) site where the straw hats and all the other famous pirates of the animanga do not exist.
The Time frame for the site is around the same time frame of the Animanga so the technology and such are on par with what is seen in the show though some advances can be made within reason of course.
There should be no mention of cannon characters as none of them exist and although there may be certain things that are similar to the animanga as this site is based off of it, the animanga is not considered cannon on this site.
Plot
Seventy years ago the three way war going on within the sky was still happening with high casualties on all sides. Because of this a truce was initiated. Each island would have its own independence away from rule of the other islands. The truce would hold so long as they stayed on their respective island and did not venture off into the territory of the other islands. Although there have been news about multiple Birkans, Shandians, or Skypieans dying while on one of the other islands the open, all-out fighting has stopped and a lot of the killing has been toned down. However, this has not stopped many sky islanders from leaving their home in search of a peaceful life down in the Blue Oceans not knowing that they were going from one multiple century long war to another.
Around sixty years ago the revolutionaries had a secret base within East Blue on Colors Island. The secret base there was becoming so successful due to the fact that none would suspect any trouble out of the weakest ocean in the world, so much so that they would be surprised to run into high ranking officials of the revolution there. This went on for about ten years until the World Government finally got wind of the location of the hideout. The fight was brought to the base and the leader of the revolution at the time stayed behind to fight off the attack giving his people time to escape. Due to the public execution of the leader of the revolution having hurt the recruiting process for a few years it was then that the revolution decided to work through a system of council so that there would never again be just one leader of the revolution but five one for each blue and one for the Grand Line as a whole. Forty years ago people began to move back to colors island and multiple towns and villages have sprang up there each named after a specific color.
In the present time the fighting has become less open warfare and more vying for islands and power. However fighting between the revolution and the World Government still persist because of this the World Government has increased taxes. This has caused unrest in many of the civilians and has bolstered the ranks of the revolution. However in a move that no one saw coming there have been several individuals who feel as if the revolution is just as bad as the World Government and have gone to sea on their own to live by their own code and to enjoy their freedom. These pirates have sparked the Golden Pirate Era which has also sparked an increase in bounty hunters which is a fine way to earn a living and pay those raised taxes without joining the marines revolutionaries or the pirates.

This was madness. A man made of Lava, yet another pirate, and now his partner was using the balcony to fight the pirates. This had ceased being an arrest, and was now chaos, a fact that made the core of Ryuske's core burn in anger. He stood watching the chaos, his being unsure on how to act. One part of him wanted to call for the crew of his ship, to return this chaos to order through sheer numbers. But the other part of him refused to budge and leave just one marine to fight three pirates.[break][break]
The deciding factor would be how the other Pirate approached him. He refereed to the men fighting for justice as punching bags. Was that all he saw them as!? On top of that, he asked it so casually, as if it was merely a matter of fact. Even if he failed to capture the crew members, he would make sure to injure this one. Wasting no time, Ryuske went to punch at the man in front of him. With his trench knives, blocking would only harm the man, his only option was to dodge.[break][break]
"Refer to these men that way again, and I will brand you with my blades." He stated, wasting no time regardless of if he hit or not. Continuing his attacks, Ryuske would punch until blocked. Only if and when he was blocked he would use momentum to fling himself above the new comer, the hand opposite to his moving behind the tall one. "Chop of the Reaper." With an open handed strike, he would use preform his signature attack. He would of course aim for the center of the back, the largest part of the body, especially for this man. Unless the man had a sudden defense up his sleeve, the trench knife clenched between his fingers would stab into him. Not even to cause immediate damage, but the wound would bleed profusely, and likely be painful for the man. Even if he did have such a defense however, the blow would still carry enough force to send him twenty feet away, sending him away from the rest of group as he had wanted.[break][break]
ONLY if the attack had blocked his punches, and the follow up attack sent him flying away, he would refocus on the first pirate. Moving just a few feet, he would hide his knives in his sleeves again as he picked up his scythe. Wasting no time he would run towards the first pirate, the one who had somehow shot air. Lifting his scythe he would swing for the man's midsection with the bladed part of the weapon. More than likely this would leave a shallow cut before the pirate either got out on his own or slid out from his own blood and the momentum of the blade. However if somehow this man too had a last second defense if the attack hit him, the blade would still fling catch him, allowing him to fling the man into the nearest wall. Either way, the first pirate was now his focus, and he was not letting up.
Ryuske look down at Teppy as she stopped his attack on the pirate. Quickly backing away, he looked thoroughly enraged that he had been stopped. This was a pirate, why shouldn't he be arresting him? Before he got an answer, another figure entered the bar, and decided much like the pirate to make his presence known. Ryuske would only take a second to recognize the newcomer, and he couldn't believe his eyes. He was one of the people who had broken the current pirate out of jail. The pictures of the beings were so fresh in his mind that he almost couldn't believe that two had decided to go to the same place. Were they even aware they had bounties?[break][break]
Before he could act on this information however, Ryuske heard Ratchet's words. Begrudgingly he admitted she had a point. Strategically it made more sense to let the lower ranks attack first. Looking towards the marines, he made sure to enunciate his order clearly. "Do not let them escape." Leading against the hole in the wall, Ryuske crossed his arms. Inspite of this appearance however, his guard never lowered. Ryuske's hands still held to his trench knives tightly, his haki still kept an eye on the two pirates in the bar. He was not letting these men get away.[break][break]
Ryuske also took note of the six other marines who had only showed up to hold the drunken marines back. They were unsure what to do, or how to handle this. Ryuske looked at them with a notably kind face, having gone back to his old personality, having forgotten what each pirate's bounty was. "Provide ranged support." He said to them, as the six immediately pulled out their rifles. Two aimed at the new comer, while the other four aimed at the first pirate. They would fire one shot each just a few seconds before the two squads of marines would come in swords swinging. Ryuske however, couldn't help but feel these pirates were relaxed for a reason.[break][break]
He could still remember the first pirate shooting air at him. What kind of ability was that? Was that an advanced fighting style? No, if it was that would mean this low level pirate had extremely difficult techniques under his belt, something he found unlikely. He couldn't help but assume it was a devil fruit power. Perhaps one that allowed him to control air? A Kaze Kaze no Mi? More than likely that was it. Of course, just having a devil fruit wouldn't be enough to win them this fight. They'd have to be a bit more skilled than that.
Ryuske would look at the other marine who came to ask what was going on. She was in the bar, he knew that. The chances of her not knowing what was going on were low. "This man is wanted to fleeing from prison. He also attacked these marines. I'm doing my duty and arresting him." The other marines nodded at his accusations, a silent way of saying it was true. However, before he could continue, Ryuske sensed an attack from the blonde man. Acting quickly, Ryuske dropped his scythe and stepped to the side. However this would only be enough to avoid the damage, as Ryuske barely felt the gush of wind fly past his side.[break][break]
This guy could shoot wind!? How was that even possible? Recovering from the shock, Ryuske would watch as the other marines surrounded the pirate. "Great." He said with a bit of zeal, this pirate wasn't getting away again. Pulling two trench knives from his pant pockets, he'd move to behind the pirate again. Hearing his threat, he would waste no time attacking. Lunging forward, he would preform a punching strike with the blades in hand. Aiming for the man's shoulder, Ryuske would also coat his hand and weapon in armament haki, strengthening his attack. If the first punch hit, he would continue with five more, two at his left shoulder, one at his right, and two at his gut. If he had to beat this man to get him to surrender, then so be it.[break][break]
The other marines would attack as well, aiming to cut the pirate down a few notches. In the long run, they wouldn't do much to the pirate, Ryuske knew this. This was a pirate who had escaped from prison, with only three other people helping him. However, that didn't make them useless. Six marines attacking with Ryuske increased his chances of hitting, and that was what made them useful in this fight. Now it was time to see how good this one was at dodging.
Ryuske had been on patrol again while he was temporarily stationed in Yotsuba. The duty itself was pretty boring, but a marine doesn't disobey orders. The day had been rather average, Ryuske covering the areas he was supposed to, getting weird looks for carrying a scythe, and of course using his Haki to keep an eye on anyone who would be moving fast and in a panic. So far nothing of the sort was happening. The only notable area with high levels of emotion was the near by bar.[break][break]
The bar had always been an area of high emotions wherever Ryuske had went, even before he unlocked his Haki. Sometimes the bar was jolly and filled with energy, everyone in high spirits. Other times it was a den of depression and pessimism. However it always seemed that regardless, some fist fight broke out. However, they had never broken through a wall before, an event that drew the attention of not only Ryuske, but several other Marines.[break][break]
As the six marines stood up, three stared at the hole in the wall, the alcohol slowing their brains where they couldn't put two and two together. The other three however had some blonde man on top of them. Quickly shoving him off, they stood on their feet, bringing their arms back to swing. Before they could swing however, their arms were held back by the other marines that arrived from the opposite end of the street from which Ryuske had entered the scene. The other three saw the half of their trio and finally managed to realize that the blonde man had started the fight, forcing every one of the marines besides Ryuske to devote themselves to holding back drunken brothers in arms.[break][break]
Ryuske looked at the blonde man. If he had not gotten up on his own, he would assist the man. He clearly wasn't as drunk as the other marines. "Why are you all fighting?" He stated, about to ask the normal questions law enforcement would before taking note to who he was looking at. Ryuske would immediately act upon what he realized he was seeing. Taking his scythe's blade and immediately bringing it to the Pirate's neck, he would get the attention of the other marines. "You are under arrest for disturbing the peace, assaulting multiple officers, breaking from prison when kept lawfully, and piracy." Ryuske said, listing every crime he knew this pirate was guilty of. Ryuske was lenient with other marines and citizens, even bounty hunters. Pirates and Revolutionaries however, they crossed the line for which Ryuske would bend the law. "This is the man who was broken out a marine prison by pirates. Chase him until your legs cann't carry you anymore." Ryuske would keep his Observation Haki on the pirate, and if he made any movements, Ryuske would act on it.
It was exactly O-Nine-Hundred Hours, Nine AM in civilian terms. The sun was just barely up in the sky, enough to where it wasn't dawn, but not enough to were it was directly above the heads of the marines at work on their ship. Many of the marines were preforming basic duties, cleaning the ship from top to bottom, maintenance checks to make sure everything was up to standard, the usual works for Marines who weren't on duty or fighting. The Officers of course were preforming the more serious duties, making sure they had hadn't lost supplies, keeping an eye out for ships that aren't scheduled to be out, and of course keeping the crew in line. The ship they were working on itself was stopped at a harbor, with most of the crew on shore leave or doing their jobs.
However one Enlisted Man, a Seaman Apprentice. was on the deck not to work, but to train. For most Enlisted Men, the manual labor was their training. Working for hours at a time physically, getting every small detail right, and being punished if they didn't. For many who were used to it, it was harsh. This one however was used to those conditions, and with harsher repercussions. If he tailed to get the exact amount by even a few plants, him and his family would either go a day without that week, or the next. Of course since doing such manual labor, be it on the ship he currently stood on or the farm he once lived on, required such physical labor, this risked inadvertently setting one back weeks as the repercussions slowly became worse and worse.
For him, his training was much more intense. With a blindfold not only did he have to dodge the attacks of a superior officer, but mentally he had to keep track of the movements of other officers on the ship. This required a heavy focus of Haki, to the point where many of the attacks were only barely dodged. The crewman however couldn't believe what he could see all at once. Even after having trained with this for three years, he wasn't used to seeing so many people at once. The man could see only life, the ship, the wooden dock, none of it was there. But what was there were the works on the dock, giving boxes of supplies to a marine, full of animals for food later, including lobster. The men on the deck of course were doing their job to the fullest. They were out in the open where anyone could see them, they had to be. Those who were experienced were only just now hitting the wall, running out of energy after two hours of working. The new ones however were exhausted, and had been since O-Eight-Hundred. The men below deck, down where others couldn't see were much more relaxed however. They took their time doing their jobs, a rookie mistake. They'd likely end up late and get punished, or rush themselves and mess up, ending up with an even worse punishment. However they did at least have camaraderie down, talking with each other and working together rather than competing. The Commanding Officer was talking into a Den Den Mushi, seemingly to someone of high rank, since he was standing at attention rather than sitting for the rather length conversation.
What the Enlisted man however was focusing on two people in particular, the Warrant Officer in front of him, and the crew member in the Crow's Nest. The officer was the focus of his training. During the beginning of the fight, the enlisted man was unsure how he w as supposed to dodge a blade being swung at him and keep focus on the ship. However as the fight progressed, he had noticed the man had an attack pattern, which he would repeat. The pattern was simple enough: Jab towards one of the Enlisted man's joints, jab towards torso, slash at chest, slash at limbs, move to strike gut or head with hilt, and then kick away. Once he had the flow of his fighting style memorized, the Enlisted man could dodge him while focusing on the others. Of course the Warrant Officer wasn't foolish enough to make it easy, moving with such speed the Enlisted man would have to keep his body ready and never relax, lest he be hit.
The crew member in the Crow's Nest was the exact opposite however. His movement's were irregular and unpredictable. One second he would be relax, next moving frantically to random sides of the nest. The crew member's aura was also unstable and unfocused, unlike the Warrant Officer, whos aura gave off an almost robotic tone as he preformed the same dull moves over and over. Something was off about the crew member, however it wasn't that he seemed afraid. More so it was as if he was waiting for something, something that would be great. Every now and then the Enlisted man would of course drag his attention away from those two, seeing what the other crew members were doing, or count the fish currently around the boat. After a full two hours and twenty minutes of the repeated events, the Enlisted man noticed something breaking the calm. The Warrant Officer who had once been near roboticly preforming the same movements over and over again had changed, or at least his aura had. The Aura suddenly flared, clearly indicating he was going to strike at the Enlisted man's right arm. The enlisted man didn't have time to dodge, he only had time to do one thing.
As soon as the blade touched the man's arm, it seemed to stop, as if it had hit another metal object. The Enlisted man looked up at the Warrant Officer with a smile, laughing a bit. "You almost got me there." He commented in his normal relaxed, much to the Warrant Officer's annoyance. Rather than withdrawing the blade, the Warrant Officer merely kept pushing, effectively flipping the ill prepared Enlisted man into the air before he slammed into the ground.
As the Enlisted man let out a groan from hitting the floor, the Warrant Officer began to berate him. "You shouldn't be so relaxed. You should have been prepared to dodge that attack. You forced yourself into that corner." As the Warrant Officer sheathed his blade, he continued talking while walking over and smacking the Enlisted man with his sheathed blade. "Your use of Busoshoku was also too slow. I cut your first layer of skin. If anyone above my skill had been cutting you'd have stopped the blade after it was already and inch in."
Rising to attention, the Enlisted man gave a salute, as if thankful for the beating and berating. "Thank you sir!" The Warrant officer began to turn, taking a few steps away before again his aura flared. This attack was going to be long ranged, and aimed for the Enlisted man's head. As the Enlisted man quickly ducked, crouching his entire body down, he could feel the breeze of a long narrow object fly past him. Judging by the dullness of the breeze, the Warrant Officer had to had just launched his sheathe at him. He sensed the next attack, the warrant officer was going to slash at his chin. The Enlisted man had moved too suddenly and with too much effort, he couldn't stop himself in time to dodge.
Again when the blade hit the Enlisted man, it failed to cut, but the sheer force did send the Enlisted man flying from one side of the deck to the other. Waiting for the Enlisted man to pick himself back up, the Warrant Officer would leave this time. "Ryuske Hikari, you have permission to remove the rag. Feel free to take shore leave. Regardless of whether you do, your time ends at Thirteen-Hundred. The ship will be leaving as soon as the Vice Admiral boards. If you are not on, you will be left." The Enlisted man nodded, as he heard the Warrant Officer assign a Petty Officer to fetch his sheathe from the water. Taking off the blind fold, the Enlisted man was temporarily blinded by the sudden light. As his eyes adjusted, he wondered: why should he do next?
Appearance: Done. and by holiday masks I mean he has different masks. You know how the Straw Hats some times had minor costume changes in different arcs? his are normally on the line of the form of his mask changing. I have altered it to say he has multiple masks.
Personality: Done.
History: Done.
Combat: Finished but the weapons need to be looked at.
The Mass Produced Trench Knife is a basic weapon in any hand to hand and weapon user's arsenal, especially if they do both. They are black in color and are curved like one's hand, with four holes for the fingers. Infront of the fingers are small blades that are formed like brass knuckles. The outside is bladed, the inside dull ad allows one to punch and cut at the same time. The form of it allows allows to unique moves such as punching than, then flicking the wrist to flash someone. They always come in pairs (though you can just not used both at once if you wish)
The Knife is the size of the user's hand plus two inches.
A Scythe made to look demonic and horrifying in design. The blade is reminiscent of a bat wing and is pitch blade in color, with the staff being silver like. It is over six foot seven in height, and the blade is thin, but dense. Ignoring the fear factor, the scythe is rather light compared to most scythes allowing it to be swung faster.

Description
Ryuske has a collection of masks. All of these masks function for the same purpose: covering his face and filtering gas based poisons. Any gas based poisons of equal rank are filtered when he is in the presence of it, allowing him to breathe without being effected. That being said ANY other form of poison can affect him.
The user punches the opponent with a trench knife over their hand. This can cause shallow cuts where the knife came in contact and bruising around the area hit.
The user swings their hand all the way back and chops at their target with the side of their hand. This causes those hit to go flying around twenty feet backward, this could also cause moderate bruising to the area that was hit. This technique can cause minor fractures and if repeatedly used in the same area (three times) it could even break bone. If the head is hit it causes a minor concussion which causes dizziness and if they hit their head on something hard on the way down could even cause them to pass out for a few moments. This technique is most effective when used against those with no defense though it can bypass Rookie level defenses while damaging Intermediate.
Scythe Bisection

Rookie
Personal
Description
The user of this technique begins by swinging their scythe toward the midsection of a target. Once the scythe hits the target a shallow cut will appear. While this is used best against a unguarded midsection in a pinch it could be used against defenses as well. When the attack hit a Rookie defense or higher the attack becomes blunt in nature connecting with the target's body the user could then use their momentum to spin the target, who is left on the curved blade, and fling them to the ground or into the nearest hard object.
The major strength of the fruit is that it gives its user another chance at life after dying once before. After death, the user continues to exist in whatever state they were revived as and can even go as far as to grant a form of "immortality" that lasts until the user suffers a second death. This of course is negated if the user's cause of death was drowning, and their body remains in the water, or if their body is completely destroyed. However, since the main attribute of the fruit is resurrection, the Yomi Yomi no Mi's power will remain dormant until the time when the consumer suffers his or her first death. As a result, until such time, the only aspects the fruit bestows upon its eater are the typical Devil Fruit weaknesses.
While the Fruit allows the user's spirit to once again return from the afterlife, it does not automatically return them to the physical body that it once resided in during its mortal life. Thus, it is then up to the disembodied soul to search for the corporeal body in order to once again reunite with it. Though the user gains another life, their body however will continue being a lifeless corpse and will continue rotting away until the user's soul can find its way back to the body. When the user's soul returns to their body, the powers of the Devil Fruit will fortunately support the user's well being in the case that their body may be in a condition unable to support life.
While the fruit can make the user an undead being of sorts, it however grants the user the ability to still feel pain as proof that they have been truly resurrected back to life, regardless of what physical condition they've been revived in. However, the susceptibility to sensation seems to be selective, since Brook was able to traverse Punk Hazard's frozen terrain without any signs of discomfort, while the rest of the Straw Hats were shivering in comparison. If one is revived in a state where some part of them is missing, such as eyes or and sort of body outside of a skeleton, they will be immune to such attacks on those area, though they may feel some bit of discomfort in that area. (Ex: hit with tear gass, but not having eyes or tear duct may cause the person's "eyes" to itch) Other than that, the user is still affected by the standard Devil Fruit weaknesses.
Once the user dies, they gain not only a second life, but manipulation of their soul. The user can increase the size of their 'soul' to basically make more people feel their presence, which can be good for distractions or traps, the maximum distance being fifteen meters. They can make the air around them seem colder and the same with their weapons. Their soul can leave their body temporarily and more around for up to ten meters in a ghost like state.
The Gomu Gomu no Mi is a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit that turns those who consume it into a rubber person, able to take on the properties of rubber throughout their whole body. It allows the user to stretch up to ten meters at Rookie Level though the longer they stretch the harder it is for them to control and aim their limbs. It also makes them almost entirely immune to blunt attacks, including hand-to-hand combat, bullets or even cannonballs. The user's rubber-like body also allows the user to survive falls from heights and collisions that would kill a normal person. They are also immune to electric attacks due to being rubber. They are also immune to high levels of pressure; even the lower ocean's extreme water pressure (thought the effects of the water due to them being a Devil Fruit user still takes effect)
Perhaps the greatest strength of this Devil Fruit, like other paramecia types, is its uses depend almost entirely on the users own creativity. It is versatile and the rubber body's effectiveness is limited only by the imagination. Any part of the body can stretch, but it will remain hard, allowing attacks to do substantial damage.
At Rookie levels the user must actively attempt to stretch their body requiring an act of force to do so, such as throwing their arms back or being shot at. There is also the problem that, due to the organs being rubber too, the user must eat one extra meal a day to remain energized (four meals a day). Of course cutting and stabbing and extreme conditions still affect the consumer. Also whenever the user's limbs are stretched to their limit, they are even more vulnerable to slicing attacks. Also like other paramecia’s that affect the body of the eater the fact that the users body is made of rubber does not change even if covered in seastone or completely submerged underwater.
